Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Internship-OnSite

At AppifyDevs, we believe quality is the backbone of exceptional software. As an SQA Intern, you’ll be an essential part of our energetic Tech team, gaining practical, hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. You’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and deepen your understanding of the entire software development life cycle.

What you'll do

• Understand project requirements and functionalities in collaboration with the Tech team.
• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and test strategies.
• Ensure the overall quality and reliability of software products.
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and trends in software testing.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience or coursework in software testing and QA.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Ability to write and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript or Python.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and defect life cycle.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, Postman, or other testing tools.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of performance or security testing basics.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or build tools.

Education

B.Sc / M.Sc in CSE / IT/ CIS or equivalent
